PURPOSE:A composition providing various base materials with improved scratch resistance, good appearance, stopping a poisonous gas, improving strength, consisting of a 2-trialkoxysilyl-1,3-butadiene and a copolymerizable unsaturated monomer and being impregnated as a solution in a solvent into the various base materials. CONSTITUTION:A composition consisting of (A) 0.5-80.0wt% 2-trialkoxysilyl-1,3- butadiene and (B) the rest of a copolymerizable unsaturated monomer. A monomer containing at least 50wt% (meth)acrylonitrile is preferable as the component B. Further, a curing catalyst such as dibutyltin oxide, etc., is effectively used. 2-Trimethoxysilyl-1,3-butadiene, etc., is used as the component A.
