PURPOSE:To provide humidifying and air cleaning methods in air conditioning to select action simply and optionally corresponding to room environment and local weather conditions by selecting in use of a kind of liquid which is composed of hard-evaporative liquid or ordinary water independently or mixture thereof with appropriate ratio, and in which a part of belt-like member is submerged. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like member 1 which is rotatably installed with tension vertically or nearly vertically between the lower location under held water level of a water container 2 and the upper location via a frame body 5 and wheels 4A, 4B, has permeability and water holding property and is composed of cotton-like synthetic fiber having excellent anticorrosive and heat resistant qualities. Under conditions requiring humidifying and air-cleaning together, only ordinary water such as tap water stored independently in the container 2 is used. When air cleaning is only required, ethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol or hard-evaporative mixture thereof stored stored independently in the container 2 is used. Further, in case of adjusting humidity a mixture of water and hard-evaporative liquid is used. |
