PURPOSE:To attain extension and contraction of a display graph centering on a specified point by storing the display data of such as plottings specifying the range, magnification and the center point of the display graph, and by converting the said data on necessity and displaying in the graph. CONSTITUTION:When a plot key 114 and an execution key 116 are operated, the center point of a displaying part 19 blinks specifying the center point of the extension/contraction. Next, a magnification numeric is inputted by operating a factor key 115, and an execution key 116 is operated to respectively input the horizontal magnification and the vertical magnification of the multiplication factor in Fx-register 17d and Fy-register 17e. Thereafter the operation of the range data of a coordinate (x, y) is executed. Xmax and Xmin of the operation result are set in registers 17i and 17h while Ymax and Ymin in ones 17k and 17j, both being as respective new range data. Using the equation data in a register 17a, an arithmetic part 15 operates display data from these data, and input them in a buffer 14. In accordance with this display data, an extended or contracted graph is displayed in a displaying part 19.
