PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition composed of a water-soluble polymer containing active hydrogen, a mixture of a specific unsaturated isocyanate and an epoxy group-containing compound, and a peroxide and having long pot life and excellent workability, adhesive strength, water-resistance and stability. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) a water-soluble polymer containing active hydrogen (preferably PVA) and/or aqueous emulsion, (B) a mixture of (b1) an unsaturated isocyanate containing <=1 equivalent of NCO group and >=1 equivalent of (meth)acryloyl group in a molecule (e.g. a reaction product of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate, etc.) and (b2) a compound having epoxy group and (C) a peroxide (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone peroxide). The composition may be further incorporated with (D) a monomer copolymerizable with the above unsaturated isocyanate.
