PURPOSE:To give rise to a turbulence in the flow of a combustion gas to promote heat exchange and to obtain a property of a high efficiency by applying a bulge working to the inner drum and providing baffle plates in opposition to the bottom parts of the bulge work. CONSTITUTION:A can body 1 forming a water chamber 4 between an inner drum 2 and an outer drum 3 is subjected to a bulge work 7 in which bottom parts 5 and crest parts 6 are alternately and continuously formed in the peripheral direction of the inner drum 2. Baffle plates 14 are provided in opposition to the bottom parts of the bulge work 7 of the inner drum 2. A number of turning air ejection holes 16 are provided on the circumference of the side wall of a combustion cylinder 15 of the turning burner. In this structure, combustion air and fuel particles are mixed and evaporated within a mixing chamber 24 and a turning evaporation combustion is carried out at the upper part of the combustion cylinder 15. Further, while passing between the baffle plates 14 and the inner drum 2, the combustion gas promotes heat exchange with water within the water chamber 4. By the provision of the baffle plates 14, it is possible to set small gaps between the bottom parts 5 and the crest parts 6 without reducing the blower ability, and also to cause turbulences in the flow of a combustion gas and to promote the heat exchange.
