PURPOSE:To provide a control unit capable of effectively carrying out the evaporation treatment of dew condensed water by providing a delay of a predetermined period of time upon shifting of a compressor from the operating condition to the stop condition to stop a drain motor. CONSTITUTION:The control unit is provided with stop signal generating means 6 for emitting a compressor stop signal upon shifting of the compressor 11 from the operating condition to the stop condition and a receiving device 7 for receiving a signal from the stop signal generating means to stop the operation of the compressor and further for operating a drain motor for a predetermined period of time after stopping the compressor. The stop signal generating means 6 is constituted of resistors 2, 3 and 4, a thermistor 1 and a comparator 5. During the space cooling or defrosting operation, the thermistor 1 detects that the room temperature reaches a preset temperature, a compressor stop signal (a)is emitted from the comparator 5, a microcomputer 7 receives the stop signal and emits a compressor stop signal (b) to stop a power supply 9 to the compressor 11. The microcomputer 7 simultaneously carries out counting of an inside timer 7a, and after the termination of the counting, a drain motor stop signal (c) is emitted to turn OFF the drain motor 12.
