PURPOSE:To make compact a data converting means and to shorten a data converting time by performing a subtraction of the picture image data and the offset data and feeding only the image data of a data area determined by the difference of both the data. CONSTITUTION:A subtracter 3 of a subtraction processing means 5 reads the image data from a frame memory 1 and an offset value from an offset register 2 and the subtraction therebetween is performed. A subtracting result is inputted to a subtraction result processing circuit 4 and the data conversion processed image data is fed to a look up table 6. It is converted into the display data and converted into the analog data by a D/A converter 7 to display the variable density data of white and black or the image having a gradient on a TV monitor 8. Thereby, a capacity of a data converting means can be deleted and a reloading time of the image data can be shortened. |
