The adhesive strength of polyolefin articles -obtained by thermoreversible gelation- for polar polymeric matrices, e.g. epoxy resins, is improved by an intermittent corona treatment, followed by coating with a solution of a polar polymer, e.g. polyurethane, and drying of the articles. Reinforced polymeric matrix materials containing so treated polyolefin articles are also claimed. |
