PURPOSE:A composition obtained by incorporating respective specific cellulose nitrate with acrylic polymer, capable of exhibiting special differential thermobalance characteristics, having good combustion characteristics and thin film-forming properties and suitable to priming films for forming metal thin films on output fluorescent surfaces, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition, consisting of (A) cellulose nitrate having 6-13.5% nitrogen content and 50-1,000 polymerization degree and (B) an acrylic polymer, prepared by polymerizing a monomer expressed by the formula (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl or 2-ethylhexyl) and having 10-1,000 polymerization degree at 1-90/99-10, preferably 25-75/75-25 weight ratio of the components (A) to (B) and having <=500 deg.C temperature giving 99.9% weight loss when burned at 20 deg.C/min heating rate in air using a differential thermobalance for a sample weighing 20mg.
