HEAT RESISTANT OXIDIZING CATALYST

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat resistant oxidizing catalyst especially prevented from the flocculation and crystallization of a supported metal causing deactivation and having no possibility of deactivation even in exothermic reaction, by using a carrier excellent in heat resistance and heat conductivity and having strong fixing force of the supported metal. CONSTITUTION:Pt or a compound thereof is supported by SnO2 preliminarily baked at 600 deg.C or more to form a heat resistant oxidizing catalyst. That is, the heat resistant oxidizing catalyst having no possibility of deactivation even in exothermic reaction can be obtained by excellent heat resistance heat conductivity and strong supported metal fixing force possessed by SnO2.
