PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from flocculating by providing a developer container, a developing roller which rotates in contact with a developer at a supply port part, and plural wire materials which extend axially on the outer peripheral surface of the developing roller. CONSTITUTION:The developer 10 in the developer container 12 is supplied to the developing roller 13 during development and its amount to be supplied is controlled stepwise by plural wire materials 16; and the developer is charged by triboelectrification to a specific polarity and brought into contact or scattered where it faces an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body to develop the latent image. Consequently, the amount of the developer which passes through individual wire materials at a time is reduced and the pressing force of the individual wire materials to the developing roller is also reduced. Consequently, the flocculation of the developer is eliminated. |
