PURPOSE:To perform phase synchronous recording by providing plural AD converters which are independent of the period of a recording paper feed speed and memories which give a specific delay time to AD-converted digital signals of recording pen systems other than a reference recording pen system. CONSTITUTION:Analog-to-digital converters 81-83 perform signal conversion at a constant period independent of the period of the feed speed of recording paper 2 and apply digital signals to a control part 5. Consequently, the frequency of data conversion increases with the feed speed of the recording paper 2. Measurement data of recording pens 12 and 13 other than a reference recording pen 11 and send to the control part 5 to operate their maximum, minimum, and mean values in one period of recording paper feeding and they are stored in memories 102 and 103 provided to the recording pen systems respectively. Those values are read out to respective servo systems 112 and 113 selectively while delayed by a specific time so as to compensate phase differences from the pen 11 with the control signal of the control part 5 according to the set value of the feed speed of the recording paper 2, and then recorded by the recording pens 12 and 13.
