PURPOSE:To make it possible to determine tool change timing efficiently by determining an attached tool diagram by means of a table of tools to be used, and a tool attachment data. CONSTITUTION:An automatic programming device body 11 has a processor 11a, ROM 11b, RAM 11c, and working memory 11d. And in the working memory 11d, the table PTM of tools to be used, tool attachment data MTF, and attached tool diagram TDM are stored. The table PTM of tools to be used is a correspondence table of a process number, the name of tool used in the process of the number, and a tool attaching position in a tool magazine. The tool attachment data MTF indicates which tool is attached at a tool attaching position in the tool magazine. The attached tool diagram TDM is formed using the table PTM of tools to be used and the tool attachment data MTF.
