Changes in the output voltage of a potentiometer coupled to the throttle flap are measured to detect transitions and to create the deman-led acceleration-enrichment area. This voltage is also used to create a time-limited fuel enrichment signal if necessary after matching characteristics. The output voltage from the potentiometer can be corrected using a non-linear device. A hot engine gets a richer mixture than a cold one. This change is linear with temp. Acceleration enrichment is limited for fast transition or for transitions leading to large throttle flap angles.
