''Marking-cord support for bricklayers which is intended for laying building blocks'' tool. The invention relates to a tool allowing: a. The positioning of a ''gap and height line'' marking cord; b. The tensioning and securing in position of the marking cord; c. The reeling of the marking cord for its storage. It consists of a body 1 made of cast AS 13 on which a special shape is provided which enables the marking cord to be reeled; an inserted part 2 whose functions are: a. The bearing on the building block on one side; b. On the other side, it receives the marking line and places it in the ''gap and height line'' position. A control screw 3 makes it possible to secure the tool in position which enables the marking cord to be tensioned. The tool according to the invention is used in pairs and intended for bricklayers for laying building blocks. <IMAGE>
