PURPOSE:To remove blades from shaft disks without inflicting damages on the blades by dividing the shaft disk into multiple sectors, cutting each of the disk sectors to form disk chips, cutting a slit going through each disk chip, and releasing the shaft disk and the blades from each other easily. CONSTITUTION:In performing the work, a shrink-fit disk 15 previously removed from a stop blade is first divided along a cutting line 18 into two disk sectors 19 and 20. Part of each disk sector is then cut off from the center toward the outer side up to before a tongue 22 of a blade 3 embedded in the disk sector to leave a disk chip 23 only. A slit 24 going through the disk chip 23 from the inner to outer peripheral side is then cut. With this slit, the thickness of the disk chip 23 is divided into two and bonding force between a blade 3 is weakened so that the disk chip 23 can be removed from the blade 3. Accordingly the disk chip 23 and the blade 3 can be released from each other with a small force so that the blade 3 can be removed from the shaft disk without being damaged.
