PURPOSE:To improve the workability and to obtain glass contg. H3PO4 which has not the devitrification or the like and is excellent in the characteristics by using P2O5 and tervalent, tetravalent and pentavalent metallic oxides as a principal raw material of a glass component. CONSTITUTION:In the production of glass contg. H3PO4, a glass raw material incorporating 80wt% preferably >=90% total amount of P2O5, trivalent, tetravalent and pentavalent metallic oxide as a glass component is used. The mixing of the raw material is preferably performed automatically in such a state that the moisture is interrupted. As a batch of the mixture of this raw material, the whole quantities can be introduced so that these are overflowed from a crucible and glass contg. H3PO4 which has not thoroughly the devitrification is obtaind as a result of the heating. Also the vitrification range can be extended by the descent of the temp. of the liquid phase.
