PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically apply predetermined printing to both front and back surfaces of a card, by providing a surface printing means for forming a card by performing predetermined printing by using a dot printer and a surface printing ribbon and a back surface printing means for applying predetermined reverse printing to the back surface printing column of the card by the dot printer after the completion of surface printing. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate part of a back surface printing ribbon 29 taken up by a feed mechanism 30 from the end part 28a thereof to the other end part 28b is provided along the upper surface of the back surface printing platen surface 26b of a platen body 28 and, when the rod 27a of a solenoid 27 is pulled in, an operating arm 31 is revolved and a printer body 25 is revolved by 90 deg. and the back surface printing platen surface 25b is upwardly directed to allow the surface of the printing ribbon 29 to oppose to a printer head 15p1. In this state, if a printer and 18 is rewardly moved to the right direction and a dot printer 15P is subjected to printing driving, the reverse printing of indivisual information T1-T5 is applied to the back surface printing column T1 of a time card TC in the presence of the back surface printing ribbon 29. |
