PURPOSE:To simplify circuits, to facilitate adjustments, and to reduce the size of a device when many sensors are used by forming a couple of sensors of two elements of an AC full bridge and supplying a symmetric rectangular voltage wave to the bridge. CONSTITUTION:This device consists principally of the reference part 22 of the bridge, the measurement part 23 of the bridge, a power source 24, and a detection output part 25. The bridge reference part 22 is formed of reference impedance elements Z1, Z2 and the measurement part 23 of the bridge is formed by arranging impedance elements Z3 (sensor 1) and Z4 (sensor 2) at the same distance from a body 26 to be measured. The switch 14 of the power source 24 switches a positive and a minus stabilized voltage to output a symmetrical rectangular wave as a bridge supply power source. Consequently, the high- accuracy, small-sized device of simple constitution which is easily adjusted is obtained.
