PURPOSE:To recognize color balance at a glance, by displaying a dot percentage, figure for each color in the specified point of a certain color strength. CONSTITUTION:An operation manual tabulating dot percentages of each color for intensity value of the specified point of the reference color (Brightest and darkest point on dot gradation image, and point on a photographic original image corresponding respectively to point, etc. in the positions 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 as the intermediate point) can be prepared with a computer. By this, a data set-up operation for a direct scanner operation can be performed simply and rapidly and this possibility renders conspicuous effect in case when the photographic original image to be processed, specially undergoes color fogging.
