PURPOSE:To utilize effectively the ground by a method in which holes are excavated at intervals, and concreting material is packed into each hole to form concrete wall pieces and then into holes excavated between the wall pieces. CONSTITUTION:An excavator 4 in which many buckets are set at a given interval to an endless chain engaged between upper and lower gears 6 and 7 is driven while being lowered to form many holes by leaving unexcavated portions between the holes. Concrete is placed into the holes and hardened to form concrete wall pieces 20. The unexcavated portions between the wall pieces 20 are excavated by the excavator 4 and concrete is placed into the holes between the wall pieces 20 and hardened to form a sheathing wall.
