In the case of a circuit arrangement for control purposes, a capacitor is provided which is connected via in each case one series circuit (consisting of a resistor and a diode) to the outputs of two differential amplifiers. The inputs of the differential amplifiers having the same mathematical sign have adjustable voltages applied to them. A control voltage is jointly supplied to the inputs of the differential amplifiers having the other mathematical sign. The circuit arrangement can be used for very different control purposes, for example for controlling motors, invertors and power-supply apparatuses. <IMAGE>
