<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively remove the noxious substance and malodorous component in waste gas, by an apparatus having a simple structure constituted so as to allow waste gas to pass through an oxidizing tank into which air is introduced and an absorbing tank having an absorbing solution received therein. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas is introduced into an oxidizing tank 2, in which a platinum catalyst has been arranged, by a waste gas blower 7 and mixed with air from an air blower 9 to oxidize H2S in the waste gas to oxide easily absorbed by an absorbing solution. Next, the waste gas is guided to an absorbing tank 3 and the noxious substance or malodorous component in the waste gas is absorbed by an absorbing solution such as pyroligneous acid. Further, the waste gas is passed through a deodorizing apparatus 4 packed with an adsorbent and a cooling apparatus 5 having a system wherein gas is bubbled into cooling water and discharged to the open air at ambient temp.</p> |
