The piston (4) of the pump comprises at its free end a flattening (7) of which the length corresponds to at least the piston stroke and of which the depth extends down to one third of its cross-section. The piston effects, during the stroke, a complete rotation about its axis, thereby alternatingly opening and closing a supply line (2) and a discharge line (3) which are arranged opposite to each other and which open in the pumping cylinder (6). The extremity (8) of the piston which is opposite to the flattening (7) is pivoted on a rotary eccentric (9) of which the rotation axis (D) forms an acute angle with the piston axis so that the piston (4) effects, upon the rotation of the eccentric (9), simultaneously an axial stroke and a rotation about its axis. |
