PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of any drop in bearing performance due to a thermal expansion difference between a race and a shaft, by holding both ends of the race with two spacers having each taper surface being inward opened to the bearing center in between, while pressing these spacers to the axial direction with a nut and an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic inner ring 1 is installed on an outer circumference of a shaft 6, and both ends of the ring are held by two spacers 5 having each taper surface being inward opened to the bearing center in between. One side of these spacers 5 comes into contact with a step part of the shaft 6, while the other side is clamped in an axial direction by a nut via an elastic member 8. Therefore, such a possibility that tensile stress works on the inner ring 1 by compressive stree acting on the taper surface is prevented from occurring, and a variation in interference due to a thermal expansion difference between the inner ring 1 and the shaft 6 is preventable. In addition, tensile force to be produced by centrifugal force at the time to high-speed rotation is well relieved and, what is more, centrifugal destruction resisting performance is improved as well.
