INSPECTION DEVICE FOR SIGNAL TRANSMISSION LINE

PURPOSE:To investigate instantly causes of the defect of a transmission line with a simple procedure by connecting a transmission means sending a high frequency signal to the signal transmission line and using a signal intensity variable means to vary the intensity of the transmission signal so as to simplify the constitution of the device. CONSTITUTION:The transmission line inspection device consists of a sending means 2 and the signal intensity variable means 3 and the inspection device is connected to the signal transmission line 1. The transmission line 1 connected to the signal transmisison line inspection device 11 constituted in this way is used in common with a lighting distribution line, and the home automation system is constituted by connection total devices such as adaptors 13-15, a controller 12 and a signal transmission line supervisory equipment 16 to the signal line 1. Then two kinds of voltages are fed to the voltage control amplifier 5 of the sending means 2 by the signal intensity changeover switch 7 of the intensity variable means 3 so as to switch the level from an oscillator 4 to the maximum or minimum level and the result is sent to the transmission line 1 thereby simplifying the system constitution for the instantaneous troubleshooting of the transmission line 1 and recognizing instantly the cause of the defect.
