PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation by the viewer by selecting whether a pattern for a desired copy is to be stored and printed after the pattern during printing is finished or stopping the print of the pattern during print and printing the new pattern when the pattern for desired copy appears during printout and a copy key is depressed. CONSTITUTION:A copy changeover switch 9 which selects whether the pattern is printed after the pattern during printing is finished or the pattern print is stopped and the new pattern is printed when the copy key 6 is depressed during printing, a write control circuit 3 applying write control to a gradation density signal of the pattern to a video memory 2 in response to the state of the copy changeover switch 9 and a read control circuit reading the gradation density signal of the pattern depending on the state of the switch 9 are provided. The write control circuit 3 selects the video memory 2 depending on the command of the copy key 6 and the state of the copy changeover switch 9, writes a gradation density signal in the memory, the read control circuit 4 reads the gradation density signal stored newly and when the copy key 6 is depressed during print, a desired pattern is printed after the pattern during print is finished depending on the selection of the viewer.
