<p>There is disclosed a woven, non-woven or knitted textile material based on monofilaments of natural or synthetic polymers, graphite fibres or metal fibres. The surface presents asperities of which the sizes are comprised between one eighth and five times the wave-length of visible light. The material attenuates by more than 20 dB the plane electromagnetic radiation between 10 kHz and 30 GHz. The direct current surface resistance is lower than 2000 Ohm per surface unit. The material may be used to combine its anti-dazzle, antistatic properties and as an electromagnetic radiation screen particularly in optical displays, windows, fans, etc...</p> |
