Floor-level door closer with corner drive for striking doors

Floor-level door closers for striking doors are provided with an oil-filled closer housing (1, 2) and with a closer shaft which is arranged in one corner of the latter and which is connected, via drive-transmission means, on the one hand to a closer spring and on the other hand to the damping piston of a hydraulic damping device which has at least one throttle-valve body (32) adjustable by means of an adjusting member (35) actuable from outside. So that the floor level door closer with corner drive can be used selectively for right-hand or left-hand doors, the two ends of the closer shaft are guided outwards and designed to form coupling slip-on ends, whilst furthermore the adjusting member (35) for the throttle-valve adjustment likewise also possesses two actuating ends (35''') located on the mutually opposite sides of the closer housing.
