A trackless vehicle for transporting in particular faceworking supports (40), transport troughs (48) and similar transport objects for supporting mining or tunnel excavations is provided, with a frame which is supported by wheel axles (4, 6) with wheels (3, 5) with tyres, in which frame a load-receiving device for the transport object is attached at the end side to the vehicle and is formed from a swivelling extension arm (14) which is supported on the vehicle frame (15, 16) so as to be capable of swivelling with one end about an axis (17) which is parallel to the adjacent wheel axle (6). The rear end of the swivelling extension arm (14) forms here a receiving element (22) for an upper part (43, 49) of the transport object. The end side of the vehicle facing the swivelling extension arm (14) is constructed in its lower region as a counter-bearing (38, 47) for a support of a lower part (44, 50) of the transport object (40, 48) which is received by the swivelling extension arm (14). The vehicle has good manoeuvring capabilities and an increased payload and can be moved into the respective load-receiving position with simple means (Figure 1).
