PURPOSE:To permit to set reinforcing fibers in a rotating mold regardless of the diameter and the length of the resin tube by a method wherein a reticulated cylindrical body, having similar configuration as the fiber-reinforced resin tube to be formed and made of reinforcing fibers, is inserted into the rotating mold and resin is supplied under rotating the rotating mold to effect centrifugal molding. CONSTITUTION:The reticulated cylindrical body 1 is set in the rotating mold 11 under a condition that both end face jigs 18, 19 are removed. Subsequently, both end face jigs 18, 19 are set and both end ring sections 14, 15 of a rubber mold 13 inserted into the rotating mold 11 are fixed to the rotating mold 11 through rubber pushing jigs 16, 17 and the end face jigs 18, 19. The material, such as a resin liquid or the like, is supplied onto the inner surface of receiving port forming section of the rubber mold 13 under rotating the rotating mold 11 in above-described condition about the rotating axis thereof to effect the centrifugal molding of the receiving port section and the fiber-reinforced resin tube 32. The resin impregnates into the reticulated cylin drical body 1 by the centrifugal force of rotation and finally the fiber-reinforced resin tube 32 accommodates the reticulated cylindrical body 1. Accordingly, the reinforc ing fibers may be set correctly on the internal surface of the rotating mold. |
