PURPOSE:To perfectly remove dust, by removing the scale or flux in waste cooling water by using a drum magnetic separator, a dust removing apparatus, an electromagnetic filter and a filter. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water is guided to the drum magnetic separator 5 arranged to a drain groove 4 to remove scale. Said cooling water is subsequently flowed in a lower pit 7 and sent out to a cyclone 9 or a mesh conveyor 10 by a pump 8 to remove flux and scale and subsequently sent into an electromagnetic filter 11 to remove scale with a particle size of 100mum or less and further passed through a filter 12 to remove flux with a particle size of 100mum or less while the treated water is sent to a cooling tower 13 to be cooled through heat exchange with the open air and guided to a water storage tank 14. By this method, dust in cooling water can be almost perfectly removed.
