PURPOSE:To form a strong film by enhancing adhesiveness, in coating a base material with a room temp. curable solution type fluoropolymer paint, by interposing a primer layer comprising a metal alkoxide solution or a specific epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:The fluoropolymer being the main component of a fluoropolymer paint is substantially constituted of vinyl ether and an organosilicon compound having an olefinic unsaturated bond and a hydrolyzable group. The paint is prepared by dissolving the room temp. curable solvent-soluble fluoropolymer in an org. solvent and applied to a desired base material through a primer layer. In this case, the primer layer is formed by applying a metal alkoxide solution or an epoxy resin containing a coupling agent having an epoxy or amino group as an org. functional group in an amount of 3pts. or more by wt. of 100pts. of the resin and drying the same.
