PURPOSE:To attain an accurate recording position alignment by measuring and holding the moving time of a scanning unit by every scanning speed and correcting it by the measured temperature value of a driving motor in a state when the driving motor is driven initially and the rise of temperature is saturated. CONSTITUTION:A CPU31, by the inputting of a test key 37, controls a motor 39 through an I/O port 36 and a motor driver 35 and based upon a signal from sensors HP and OHP, measures repeatedly a time t1 during a scanning system is started from the sensor HP and is passed through the sensor OHP by a timer 40 at every kind of scanning speed set in advance and holds a data measured at a RAM33. Furthermore, a data obtain from a temperature sensor 41 is stored as the temperature when, in measurement, the power is supplied and the temperature of the motor seems to be saturated at the RAM33 through an A/D converter 42. By correcting a moving time against a require scanning speed from the temperature stored at the RAM33 and indicating the position alignment of an image recording part, the accurate movement of a recording image can be obtained in a short time.
