PURPOSE:To accomplish mixed loading of print rolls having different diameters and to simplify handling by putting print rolls on an arm-like pallet disposed with a rising gradient toward the projected end, and elevating the arm-like pallet to be engaged or disengaged with and from guide posts. CONSTITUTION:The first step pallets 41a, 41b are fitted in the upper end channel grooves of guide posts 31, 32, and lowered until the guide post engaging portions are brought into contact with a base 2. Then, print rolls R11-R13 are horizontally put on the pallets 41a, 41b. Subsequently, spacers 51a, 51b of a required length are selected according to the maximum diameter of the print rolls and positioned above the guide posts engaging portions of the first step pallets. The second step pallets 42a, 42b are positioned on the spacers 51a, 51b. Whereupon, the second step pallets 42a, 42b are placed in such a manner as to float above the print rolls R11-R13 on the first step pallets 41a, 41b. Thus, pallets are stacked in layers in such a manner that the upper step pallets are not put on the print rolls of the lower step.
