PURPOSE:To omit a difficult operation such as prefocusing operation by forming the 1st range finding circuit for range-finding a center part, the 2nd range finding circuit for range-finding the center part and a peripheral part and a change-over switch. CONSTITUTION:The reflected light of signal light obtained from a light emitting element 1 is made directly incident with a photodetecting element 6 through a light receiving lens 5 and the reflected light of signal light from light emitting elements 2, 3 is once reflected by mirrors 7, 8 to be reflecting members and then made incident with the photodetecting element 6. Out of three reflected rays of light, the reflected rays of light reflected by subjects located on the same range are made incident with the same position of the photodetecting element 6. If a range finding start switch 10 is turned on when the change-over switch is ON, signal rays of light are projected from the light emitting elements 1-3 and the ranges of the approximately center part and the peripheral part of a photographing screen are measured. If the switch 10 is turned on when the switch 17 is OFF, signal light is projected only from the light emitting element 1 and the range of only the center part of the photographic screen is measured. |
