PURPOSE:To comparatively correctly take out an electronic part from a tape at the time of high-speed mounting by feeding the tape with tension applied to a cover tape. CONSTITUTION:A lever 13 is turned downward to pitch-feed a tape 1 by the donward movement of a pitch-feed mechanism 25. At this time, a cover tape 4 is simultaneously stripped for one pitch. In order to accurately execute the above relative operation, a screw 19 is rotated to adjust the position of a take-up reel 14 so that the cover tape 4 is always taken up with tension by the take-up reel 14. Further, a belt excellent in abrasion characteristic is selected as a belt 20, whereby when the winding force of the reel 14 for the cover tape 4 is more than fixed force, a shifting in synchronization of feeding the tape 1 one pitch with stripping the cover tape 4 for one pitch is prevented by slipping between the belt 20 and belt pulleys 15, 21. Thus, the tape feeding operation can be timed with the operation of stripping the cover tape to decrease a failure in mounting at the time of high-speed mounting.
