LOCAL AREA NETWORK CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To utilize effectively a transmission line by sending the information having the sharing ratio of a line exchange transmission capacity and a packet exchange transmission capacity from a central node station so as to control the remote node station. CONSTITUTION:The share ratio between the line exchange transmission capacity and the packet exchange transmission capacity is informed to each remote node station NS by applying a command from a central node station CS 1 and being given onto a control channel. A system control information transmission/reception section of a remote node station NS131 receives the control information of the sharing ratio to inform it to a control section generat ing a pulse for multiplex separation thereby deciding the sharing ratio. Thus, in response to the change in various traffics, the ratio of the line exchange transmission capacity is set larger than the packet exchange transmission capac ity at daytime and the ratio is reversed at night so as to utilize effectively the transmission line.
