PURPOSE:To adopt easily the (n+1) standby system in a hybrid loop by providing a line exchange function and a packet exchange function to each remote node station. CONSTITUTION:Each remote node station has a general packet processor 31 having a packet exchange function and a general time division line exchange 32 having a line exchange function. An MEMo of a central node station is a loop delay circuit (L1) retarding a signal by one frame in line exchange. Further, an MEMn is a loop delay circuit (L2) retarding a fixed bit for packet exchange. When a fault in MEMs0-n is detected by a supervisory circuit CHK 29 in a standby storage circuit MEMn+1, it is reported to a controller 40, which gives an instruction to switch an SEL group 24 and corresponds AND gates so as to decide the delay by the circuit L1, L2, a faulty MEM is disconnected and the system is used as an active system. |
