PURPOSE:To attain efficient copying and document edition by providing an original read means, an indicated graph display means, an indicated drawing moving means, an edition processing designation means, an edition execution means and a print means. CONSTITUTION:A document edition device 2 has edition functions such as deletion of characters, change, change of letter style, and addition of underline and consists of the following; the document decoding section 22 decodes a document inputted to an original input section 21 and detects the character information. A memory 23 stores the character information detected by the document decoding section 22. The document edition section 24 applies edition processing designated by a keyboard 4 or a mouse 5 to the character information stored in the memory 23. The content subject to document edition is preserved again in the memory 23. A pattern generation section 26 generates a required character pattern when the document output section 25 gives an output or the information is displayed on a CRT3. |
