PURPOSE:To attain larger phase change and to obtain a device with small propagation loss by opposing branch patterns formed with microstrip lines having plural branches where the distance from a branch point is 1/4 of the wavelength of the microwave propagated in the microstrip lines and connecting any of tips of the branches by a conductor. CONSTITUTION:One branch pattern A having plural branches 7,8,9 whose distance from a branch point 6 is lambdag/4 made of microstrip lines formed by applying patterning onto a dielectric base and a branch pattern B having branches 7',8',9' formed similarly in opposition to the branch pattern A are provided. For example, three paths are used and let each distance between tips 10,11,12 and 10',11',12' be respectively alpha,beta,gamma, then any of three distances of lambdag/2+alpha, lambdag/2+beta and lambdag/2+beta is selected. That is, in connecting any of the tips 10-10', 11-11' and 12-12' by a conductor such as a gold ribbon, three ways of phase adjustment are attained. |
