PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency by providing a groove in a motor base and directly cooling a motor base through cooling medium in the groove. CONSTITUTION:Coolant of cooling medium flows to one end of a groove 5 of a motor base 4 to cool the base 4 through the groove 5 to rise its temperature, and flows out from the other end of the groove 5 as designated by an arrow 8. Accordingly, since the coolant directly cools the base 4, the cooling efficiency is improved. Further, since the thickness of the base 4 may be substantially small even if a blind plate 6 is welded to the base 4, a motor shaft 2 can be shortened. |
