PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance inspection and replacement by dividing an image carrying device into three parts, i.e. a developing device, a photosensitive drum, and a cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning device 10 is coupled with the image carrying device by rails 12 and 13 and a groove 14 engages the rail 15 of the photosensitive drum 9 loosely. The drum 9, an exposure part 8, and an electrostatic charging part 9 are united together and engage the groove 17 of the developing device 11 loosely. The developing device 11 is coupled with the image carrying device by rails 18 and 19. Thus, the image carrying device of an electrophotographic printer into three parts, and then the respective devices are replaced in consideration of their mechanical and electric life. |
