PURPOSE:To increase the productivity in welding by providing a pair of control data storing devices and by connecting these control data storing devices freely shiftably respectively to a welding robot and teaching device. CONSTITUTION:The welding equipment 1 is composed of a teaching device 2, welding robot 3 and control device 4 and a rail 5 is placed on the welding robot 3 and teaching device 2. The profiling body providing a probe is born by a pin on the lower end of the arm 12 of the teaching device 2 and a welding torch 28 is arranged on the part of the profiling body of the teaching device 2 at the lower end of the arm 12 of the welding robot 3. The pallet 26 to be transferred to the welding robot 3 from the teaching device 2 is also provided on the rail 5. The welding is performed by moving the pallet 26 to the robot 3 after teaching by the device 2 with placing the work on the pallet 26 and by switching the control data storing device. The productivity in welding can be increased with the reduction in the loss of time of the work for small quantity production.
