PURPOSE:To recover the error of the communication procedure and to avoid a deadlock by checking a flag when the session is opened and simulating the image within a buffer according to the flag contents to secure the synchronization between stations. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 11 is connected to a terminal controller 12 via an HDLC link 16, and an equipment 12 is connected to work stations 13-15 via a local network 17. An LU connects the equipment 12 with the computer 11 via an NAU which connects a user application to carry out the conversation. A PU controls the hardware of each equipment and an SSCP controls the entire network. The flags in the LU and PU control tasks are checked when the session is opened. Then the image within a buffer is simulated according to the contents of said flag check. In such a way, the synchronization is secured between stations when the session is opened. Thus it is possible to recover the error of the communication procedure and to avoid the deadlock.
