PURPOSE:To superpose articles in tying-in form as well as to make them accumu latively transferrable accurately at high speed without installing a turnover device in a continuous feeding part from the upstream side, by opposing homoge neous surface, where there are jogs of the article inserted reversely in a sense, with each other and gathering up, delivering them. CONSTITUTION:At a storage transfer device on one side, a convex part is directed downward but at a storage transfer device on the other, this convex part is directed upward whereby packing sheets m and m' are fed to a position of a gathering-up mechanism 4. At the time of intermittent stoppage of these storage transfer devices, a push rod 37 is shifted and these packing sheets m and m' are simultaneously extruded onto both receiving plates 41 and 41a by an extruding member 38. Afterward, these packing sheets m and m' are verti cally lined up in a state of being opposed by pushers 44 and 44a, gathering them up, and they are fed in a state of being superposed in a tying-in way by a delivery mechanism 6. With this constitution, they are accumulable in tying-in form at relative high speed with a simple device and, what is more, there is no omission of these packing sheets m and m' and packing for the specified number of pieces is accurately carried out.
