The sleeve (3) is set on the bar (1) near one of its ends (8) and about several of its indentations. The sleeve metal is softer than the bar metal so that the bar ribs penetrate the sleeve. A plate (2) pierced with a central hole (6) is then threaded on the bar until it touches the sleeve. - A second sleeve (4) is set on the other side of and touching the plate. A radial force is applied to this sleeve to provoke a creep of sleeve metal towards the plate to strongly tighten the plate between the sleeves.
