LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display body with high sharpness and good display quality by arranging a color filter in the optical path of the liquid crystal display body. CONSTITUTION:The color filter 1 made of glass transmits green light. Transparent negative electrodes 4 are formed on two color filters respectively by vacuum evaporation, the surfaces of the electrodes 4 are coated with polyimide group orientation films 5 and orientation processing is performed by rubbing. Respective color filters 1 are adhered to each other with a gap through spacers 3 so that a liquid crystal layer is formed with a prescribed thickness. Since only the light in a comparatively narrow band is transmitted, the sharpness of display is improved and the display of large capacity with high visibility can be attained.
