PURPOSE:To stably control the receiving of molten iron in a torpedo ladle car in casting-bed desiliconization by detecting the slag forming level in the torpedo ladle car with a microwave level meter and changing over the injections of molten iron into the ladle car from the height and rise of the level. CONSTITUTION:A desiliconizing agent from a lance 11 is charged into the melt from a casting bed 12 at a tapping spout 1 and the molten iron is alternately charged into torpedo ladle car 3 and 7 waiting on both sides through a tilting trough 2 in an automatic molten iron receiving method during casting-bed desiliconization. The molten iron is received by one torpedo ladle car 3 and the slag forming level in the ladle car is always monitored by a microwave level meter 4. The contact output is inputted to a tilting trough setting device 6 through an alarm 5, when the level reaches a reference value. Succeedingly, the rising speed of the level in the other ladle car 7 is detected by a level meter 8 and a differential arithmetic unit 9 and the signal is outputted to the tilting trough setting device 6, when the rising speed is low and the melt level does not reach a desired value. A motor 10 is controlled by the signal to operate the tilting trough 2 and the injection of the melt is changed over to the other torpedo ladle car 7. |
