<p>PURPOSE:To enable improvement in response to acceleration, by providing a control device which controls such that, during acceleration, a throttle valve is brought into an about full opening state after a throttle valve is maintained at a given opening for a given time. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust turbo supercharger 6 comprises a turbine 7, disposed in an exhaust passage 5 and rotated for driving by means of an exhaust gas flow, and a blower 8 situated in a suction passage 2 and driven by the turbine 7 through a coupling shaft 9. Throttle valves 10 and 11 are positioned in the suction passage 2 situated down a line from the blower 8. A control device 17 controls the throttle valve 11 such that, during acceleration, the valve is brought into an about full opening state after it is maintained at a given opening for a given time. This enables improvement of response to acceleration through prevention of a decrease in an output due to a turbolag.</p> |
